Can somebody tell me why with the new website search, reservation for a CLUB room for one traveler shows all booked while for 2 it is available. And while has the price for one soared and it is not as advertised? It was never like that in the past. Does anybody know what happened?

What club and which country's website? In the past, not all country's websites were the same.

If the website is funky, try calling CM. <...> Every little bit helps.

CM discourages solo travelers in some villages, especially certain weeks; that is why sometimes there is 100% single supplement. I have not experienced village appearing 'not available' for solo booking. I have experienced a village 'not available' at the US website, but available at the French website ( CM reservation agent had obtain permission from the Paris office to sell the room). CM is a funny company, not everything they do is logically explainable.

Thanks Jim for making publicity for a competing Club Med Agent but as Club Med Planet is an Expert Club Med Agent as well you are more than welcome to try our service also :-)

Sorry, Club Med Planet, I did not realize you were an agent. Frankly, you may want to redesign the home page because a little logo in place of the "E" in Planet is virtually non-existent. I certainly didn't notice it. And if you try to click on it nothing happens. You have to go to the pull-down menu on the "About" button to even find a quote link.. Have some text identifying yourself as as an agent with a request a quote button. Lastly, I seem to recall Club Med requesting donations to keep the website going a few years ago which I did. Not sure I would do so again if this is a commercial site.

Thanks Jim for the input. I will certainly take it into account and make a bigger and bolder logo :-)
A few years ago I did indeed request donations to support the site. It was nice but not sufficient so I had to find other ways. For a few years we worked as 'affiliates' for Club Med sending vistors their way and got some crumbs for it. This didn't last and the program was stopped. So I had to find another way to make CMP sustainable. So I became a CM Expert Agent.

And of course CMP Members ALWAYS get a good price ;-)

Well Michel, I will give you a little publicity. :-) I frankly had abandoned going to CI this year because they were penalising me so badly for being a single traveler. But thanks to your magic, I got a decent price and am heading out tomorrow morning. Thanks again! Trish
