My, My, so this resurfaces again. Many years ago I was asked to complete a survey on timeshares for CM. I think that Jamessite was as well. Later, for some reason, CM denied that they ever were interested in the concept.
Seems like a nature progression and I am surprised CM did not do it earlier. Always thought that vacant land next to CM Cancun on the main beach would be prime for condos/timeshares. Unfortunately having visitors may ruin what little is left of the CM spirit and for CI it could mean more kids. Finally, it would be interesting to see what the rental rate is and whether there is any charge for using the club. Maybe cheaper to stay there than at CM.
That was like 10 years or so ago. It still sounded cheaper just to book vacations. But now, I would love to see a price comparison if it does follow through.
