Club Med Columbus Isle

Does anyone know what the themes are right now at Columbus? It will help my packing if I know what I will be wearing at night! Also what will the temps be like this time of year? I usually am traveling in the heart of hurricane season... I teach swimming all summer and need a recovery trip after a long summer so I usually do the caribbean in sept or oct! I am hoping for some good sun and beach time, also maybe some scuba time, although I have never dove when I actually needed a wetsuit! Any feedback would be great, I leave in a week from Friday!

Well, so far it has been all white, elegant, pink and white,black and white, all black,jeans...
if it changes, I ll let you know. But I suggest you bring mosquito bug spray and a thin long sleeve shirt for the night. As it rain a little every other day, when the sun rises and set there is a few mosquitos.
Most of the hurricane season is behind us, so you should have some sun with a nice breeze.
Diving is really good here ( used to be a Scuba GO). The responsible is really nice and funny.
We also offer a new excursion : Parasailing. And with all the reefs, it is really pretty!

Thanks for the heads up on the themes! I usually like to have my outfits all ready for all the nights so I can participate! So you are in excursion? I will have to come by and say hello! I am coming by myself, so I am hoping to find some nice people to hang out with, hopefully there will be some good people! I am thinking about going diving maybe 2 days... don't want to spend all my time under water, I want to sit by it too! I look forward to meeting you in a week! Let me know if you think of anything else that might be good for me to bring!

We'll be coming down for 14 days starting this coming week. Thanks for the theme info. I noticed no mention of red or beige/khaki. Does that mean we can pack a little lighter this time... lol.

BTW, can you give me an idea of the water temperature? Should I bother bringing a wetsuit for snorkling?

The water still warn, not summer warm but...I would say 25 c (Celcius...yep I am from Quebec!) I dont think you would actually need a wetsuit , not for snorkeling unless you get cold really quickly. ut I see you are from Canada , so :)
