We are arriving at Columbus Isle from Boston this Saturday, and getting very excited for the trip. Planning on diving for three days. How has the diving been recently? Any hammerheads sightings?

I was there from April 10-17th, and the diving was great. Great diving team, and lots of life. We saw several hammerheads, as well as reef sharks, hawksbill turtles, spotted rays, stingrays, lobster, etc. I'm told the hammerheads tend to be less frequent as the water warms, so I don't know if they're still hanging around. The night dive was also very good, with the decorator crabs going crazy while they ate the krill attracted by our lights (and a very nice octopus out in the open). The water was mild, at only 69 degrees F, so most people were in 5mm suits, which the club rents.
