CI prices?

I was playing around on the CM site, trying to see prices to dive with Adria and the Reef Police in late June. Of course, I got a horrific number of USD 3726 (including airfare from Atlanta).

Then I went to the "Deals" page and there's a statement that from February to October, there's no single supplement and it says "$999 for a week Air-Inclusive Vacation". But when you click on that, it just takes you to the Columbus Isle page!

Anybody been able to figure out exactly WHEN they're offering that $999 deal? Or do you have to just start sticking dates in the calendar and wait for it to pop up?

Thanks!
Trish

I'm not familiar with the USA deals, but I suggest you to give them a call. The employees should be able to tell you when this offer is valid. In the Netherlands we have a table with all the dates for the 'no single supplement' dates, so I guess my American colleagues should have a similar table!

'09 Vittel, Albion, La Pointe
'08 Les Deux Alpes, Opio, Vittel
'07 Agadir + Marrakech

At CM USA website, click on ' last minute deals', then at the bottom of the page (book section) choose the village. When you click on the dates, you will see the weeks ( all Saturdays departing from FLL) with corresponding (last minute) prices. Today I did not see any single supplement. The specials are for the weeks of Feb 20 (today), Feb 27, March 3. However the price is now more than $999 ( which did not include the taxes -around $57, and membership).

I would check with a Club Med specialist travel agent to help you.

Thanks Indiana! Just now went and found the last minute offers and I see what you mean.

But I wanted an offer for this summer, so I went to the Special Values section and there was the offer of no Single Supplement at selected villages (although I note CI is listed at $1545 and not $999). Nonetheless, that is less than I was quoted the other day. So I clicked on Columbus and picked the date I wanted and tried to submit. No luck! The website blocked up...

I'll try again later...

And Jamessite, you're right - I will check with a travel agent before booking anything. But I just always love to dream that the CM website will work properly and give good prices, ha ha!!

Somedays I would just settle for one of the above-a working site or a good price. You realize, of course, that there is a Nobel prize in economics for anyone who decipher the Club Med pricing system. Makes breaking the Mayan code look like child's play! :).

We've found that the website may show the special offers (such as "no singles supplment")but when you go to book, the prices don't always reflect those offers.
When I phone the US sales office, they apologize, tell me it's a computer problem, and then are able to tell me the real special offer prices. I'd suggest you phone them, Trish. It probably won't be the $999 special deal for the more popular June/July weeks, but it will definitely be a much better rate than the website was showing a few weeks ago before they started offering the "no singles supplement" for Columbus Isle for this summer. Sure hope it works out for you....we'd love to have you on the dive boat with us this time!
