Club Med Bintan Island

Hi Everybody!

I'm planning to go to Bintan in February 2009 and I wonder what's the weather like there in that time? Is it raining a lot? I live in Poland and it's a quite long trip for me to get to Bintan so I'd really like to avoid spending a week with raindrops falling on my head all the time.

By the way, does anybody know what's the weatehr like in Singapore in February? I guess it should be more or less similar to Bintan's...

February is towards the tail-end of the North East monsoon - so typically it doesnt rain a lot.

It took me quite a long time to decide which club I wish to go to this winter and it seems to be Bintan. I just hope the weather will be fine.

Can anybody tell me about the GO team there? And how's the chief of the village? Is it a lively village or one of those more quiet onces?

As far as I know it shouldn't be pourring at the time of my stay there and that's all I care about. But jason, I will definitely follow your suggestion and take an umbrella - just to avoid unpleasant surprises that could cost me spending my long awaited holidays being locked up in a room.

Don't worry about taking an umbrella, CM provides them for free in case it rains.

It's great to know that Club Med provides umbrellas. Actually I didn't expect them to think of it. I just hope I won't need one during my stay.
