Cant give much of a field report since i was practically camped in the meeting rooms most of the time. But i had enough watering time.

Go Bars:
Pascaline (Bora Bora)
Sanjay (Mauritius)
Hana (Korea)
Raja (Indonesia)
Sa Lee (malaysia)
Emmeline

Strangely or not: Bintan doesnt have or allow an all inclusive shooters
policy. Drinks like cointreau, canned beers, kahlua are not included in the AI unlike Cherating & Bali.

Does anyone know whY?

Snacking restaurant ends at 6pm which i felt was a bit early.

Most likely pretty expensive. As a matter of fact, often you don't have canned beer at the bars, just at the boutique for which consequently you pay.

Whatever, you pay extra for all VSOP (very special old pale liquors like Cointreau, Grand Marnier, Calvados, etc.) and champagne as well.
Usually, the liquors you pay for are displayed (the bottles, I mean) somewhere at the bar.

As for the snacking, 6 PM is usual, at least in my experience, as apéro time with all what goes with it starts usually at 7 PM.
At Méridiana, well would always run to the snacking just before 6 PM, just to get a hot cheese sandwich or a crepe, since we often had dinner at 9 PM or even later.

BTW, when AI was introduced, we had different discussions about it, like this one:

PS: Just a small question, Vinz: Is the new Terminal 3 at Changi Airport already open?
PPS: got the answer! It will be operating as from January 9, 2008.

cherating doesn't include shots in the AI either, actually i'm pretty sure they're not free in any of the villages in asia...the only free shots we got was in sahoro on new years eve when we knew the bar GOs pretty well lol.

Yes, in fact, Changi T3 will be open to the public for viewing and "orietatation" in Nov 07

Well, I guess then that drinking baileys / tequila "double shots" from a short whisky didnt look pretty !
