Club Med Bintan Island

Hi,

I am new to this forum and I am planning to have a trip in Clubmed Bintan for my honeymoon. I am just wondering if Clubmed Bintan provide any scuba diving tour? How is the water comparing to other famous diving spots in Asia? Any input is highly appreciated.

Yes.
Scuba diving is available from April to October in Bintan.
Regarding water quality, sorry, I have no idea.

To be honest.... scuba is terrible in Bintan compared to other spots in Asia. i have been diving off Phuket and other areas in thailand as well as Bintan...as well as in Australia. And bintan would have to be the worst. There just isn't the variety of fish and coral and the colours just aren't as bright. this is becuase of the use of the South China Sea as a major shipping route.

If you want to go to a CM for your honeymoon. CM phuket or even the Maldives CMs are so much better for snorkelling and diving. Phuket is best from November to April but you can still dive all year round but the seas get rough...and i mean rough rough from July onwards.
