Club Med Bintan Island

was anyone at bintan over the weekend? on saturday they had the merry christmas theme - it is absolutely ridiculous. i was plesantly surprised when they played the song "all i want for christmas is you" for the arrival song. & it was a nice change. but as the day got on & all the GOs were going "merry christmas" everywhere you meet them & even at the entrance of the restaurant too! the whole place was decorated with christmas decorations complete with snowmans, christmas trees, presents & even snow! i think it is absolutely crazy that they took a festivity & turned it into a party theme - now how absurd is that!??! now christmas is nothing special anymore... i wonder what they will be celebrating during the real christmas - national day?? ha!!

What do you have in the dinner ?
Some GOs and GMs tell me that it should be a big big rich rich dinner during Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year. There will be expensive seafood, champaign in dinner.

Yeah i heard that they've been doing this christmas thing again and again recently since the new COS came...

i didn't have dinner at the main restaurant - went over to the beach restaurant for dinner - so i'm not sure if they had turkey & the rich rich food at dinner for the main restaurant...
