The Resort
Located in Italy's Piedmont region at an altitude of 1,600 metres, in a beautifully preserved natural site, this new Club Med Resort with its charming chalets promises a warm and friendly welcome and a genuine Italian Dolce Vita atmosphere.
In the heart of Europe's second largest ski domain - Vialattea - this prestigious resort hosted the ski jumping and cross country skiing events at the Turin Winter Olympics in 2006.

Il Piemonte
The main restaurant proposes four different ambiences, with four rooms arranged in a star shape around the buffet: the cermaics room, "Des Artes", the mirror room, "Il Cristallo", the national park room, "Val Troncea" and the herbarium room, "L'Erbario".
One of the rooms has a terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view, where you can enjoy the benefits of the mountain air.
La Tana
Restaurant serving mountain specialities such as fondue, raclette and pierrade.
With a wine cellar ambience ideal for wine tasting, this is a genuine experience of Italian style.
La Trattoria
Restaurant of Italian specialities open from lunch time through to dinner. La Trattoria proposes snack lunches such as pizzas, saldads and pasta.
In the evening, come and dine in a typical Italian atmosphere, with live music. Booking required, at Reception.
The restaurant also has a grocery corner where you can purchase typical Italian specialities, so you can prolong your experience of Italian gastronomy when you return home from your stay at Pragelato Vialattea.
Mollino Chalet
After your skiing lessons, you can lunch on the slopes at our mountain-top restaurant.
The Chalet Mollino, on the 1st floor, at an altitude of 2,300 m (7,544 ft), blends traditional mountain architecture with the assets of modern technology.
Bars:
Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort (including the nightclub).
Drinks included(served by the glass and in the bars only): Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, local and/or international spirits, wines.
Sweet and savoury snacks
Drinks not included: Champagne, VSOP and XO spirits, bottled and canned drinks (available in certain Resorts from vending machines and/or the Club Med Boutique®), certain super-premium brands and bottled wines proposed à la carte in some of our restaurants and bars.
La Lanterna
In a festive, friendly ambience, the main bar welcomes you all day long in the heart of the Resort; a great selection of cocktails to choose from.
Le Dolce Vita
This lounge bar is a select, dedicated space on the 2nd floor.
Small lounge areas around the bar make this a great place for friends to share quality time together.
Ski area
Pragelato includes the following skiing areas:
- Pragelato ski (about 50 km of slopes)
- Via Lattea ski (about 400 km of slopes). Via Lattea resorts are: Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Montgenevre, Claviere, Pragelato, San Sicario, Cesana.
Natural parks
- Val Troncea Nature Reserve
- Orsiera Nature Reserve, which stretches across the Northern Cottian Alps and encompasses the Val Chisone, Val Susa and Val Sangone. On average, the borders of this protected area reach 1,400 metres and include a wealth of fauna and historical landmarks, including rock engravings and military buildings.
- Alpine lakes include the Lakes of Cristalliera, where herds of mouflon come to graze, Lake Chardonnet, the Lakes of Beth, which afford views of the old abandoned copper mines, and the Lakes of Albergian, where edelweiss and Alpine aster blossom in summer.
