Club Med Cancun Yucatán

Hi guys:
we are going to Cancun in August. I am wondering if the Theatre is air conditioned? We were in Ixtapa last summer and just about died while enjoying the shows. I am also curious about yoga/pilates. In Ixtapa there was a "fitness palapa" which was outside on the beach. Is yoga/pilates/zumba inside with air or is there an outdoor location?

The theater at Cancun is indeed enclosed and air conditioned. The gym is also air conditioned and is the usual home for fitness classes. There are also outdoor locations for shows and fitness classes.

Summer is HOT and still.

You also may want to bring some bug spray. We usually go in April but one year went in June. The mosquitos were out near the tennis courts and in the specialty restaurant/bar, Chisba, in the evening. The air was very still so the mosquitos were out. In April there is more breeze which keeps them in the lagoon. Really did not notice them in the main area.
